Our dear patient from Australia applied to us with the complaint of sagging on the face and neck as a result of weight loss due to sleeve gastrectomy surgery. As a result of a detailed online examination before coming, we concluded that she would benefit from deep plan face and neck lift surgery.
2 days before the operation, the patient came to Turkey and the necessary preop tests, ac graphy and ecg tests were performed and after it was seen that there was no obstacle to surgery, the patient was put to sleep under general anesthesia, the neck midline was reached with a frequent incision of about 3 cm under the chin and the medial ends of the platysma were seen and the platysmaplasty was performed to the midline and at the same time wedge excision was performed from the lower end of the platysma.
The skin was dissected with a preauricular retrotragal incision and the smas was cut under the line drawn from the lateral canthus to the corner of the angulus of the mandible, and the incision was extended in the neck and entered under the platysma. The zygomatic masseter and cervical retaining ligaments were carefully dissected and cut.
After full mobilization of the smas and platysma tissue was seen, the smas and platysma tissue were sutured to the appropriate places in the vertical and lateral vector and a beautiful jaw line was achieved. We sent our patient back to her country after the sutures were taken 1 week later.1 year later, when our patient applied to us again due to body liposuction, we also took post op photos of our patient and we are happy to share this successful result with you.
